Position Overview

As a Psychiatrist, you will manage the daily care of 10 adult inpatients and conduct psychiatric consults on the medical floor twice a week. Your role will include conducting evaluations, diagnosing mental illnesses, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. This position is entirely onsite, with no remote work or on-call duties, providing a balanced work-life schedule.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Onsite-only inpatient position at the main hospital
  • No after-hours, on-call, or weekend work required
  • Manage 10 inpatients daily, with 2 consults on the medical floor twice a week
  • Start date: March 25, 2025
  • Focus on adult patients with mental health and dual diagnosis needs
  • Collaborative environment with 4 Psychiatrists, 6 APRNs, and 7 moonlighting psychiatrists
