Position Overview

As the School-Based Medical Director, you will oversee medical care and service quality, working closely with both healthcare and school staff to ensure seamless operations. You will provide direct patient care, covering a diverse population, and integrate behavioral health with medical services. Your week includes three days at the school health center, one day at another site, and one day for administrative duties. You will also participate in recruitment and supervision of staff, helping to maintain high standards of care.

Compensation & Benefits

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a bilingual (Spanish/English or Polish/English preferred) nurse practitioner or physician assistant with experience in school-based and federally qualified health centers. You are a collaborative leader with a passion for community health and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Familiarity with Athena is a plus.
