Position Overview

As an Advanced Practice Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive inpatient care, conducting patient assessments, formulating and implementing treatment plans, and coordinating care with primary care physicians and family members. You will be key in ensuring smooth transitions during patient transfers and discharges, and play a crucial role in patient care on medical or surgical floors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include participating in team scheduling, compliance programs, and developing clinical pathways.

    The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by ARC-PA or hold certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. You should have a valid Connecticut medical license, Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration, Federal DEA Certification, and ACLS certification. A strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
