Family Medicine Physician – Outpatient Primary Care (No Inpatient Duties)

Position Overview

As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide outpatient care to patients of all ages in a community health setting. Enjoy a collaborative environment with supportive staff, including experienced Nurse Practitioners and medical assistants. You'll manage a patient load of approximately 18–22 per day, focusing on continuity of care and relationship-building without the burden of inpatient responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary range: $230,000–$240,000 for newer graduates
  • Experienced physicians may earn $260,000–$275,000+
  • Salary structured around the 65th percentile of market benchmarks

  • Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of outpatient Family Medicine experience, preferably within a community health or FQHC setting. A strong understanding of Medicaid-heavy populations and a commitment to community practice are essential. Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine is required. Candidates with Midwest ties or similar practice experience, including exceptional newer graduates, are encouraged to apply.
