Position Overview
In this role, you will provide direct mental health services within local schools, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support pediatric and adolescent patients aged 5 to 21. Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, providing individual and group counseling, and participating in crisis intervention efforts. You will work closely with school personnel and health professionals to deliver holistic care in a community-centered setting. During school breaks, services may be extended to our Rural Health Clinic, maintaining continuity of care.

Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable professional who thrives in a behavioral health environment, especially with children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will hold current Louisiana licensure as an LCSW or LPC and have at least two years of experience in psychosocial assessments, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. Experience in school-based counseling is strongly preferred.
