Position Overview
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric conditions, substance abuse disorders, and dual diagnoses. You’ll conduct 60-minute psychiatric evaluations and manage 20-minute medication visits, participating in case conferences and providing in-service training for staff. Initially working in-person, you will transition to a hybrid model after six months. Support from a part-time psychiatrist and leadership guidance will be readily available.
